Forget Me Not

I have always been fascinated by ghosts. Whether from my own odd experiences or my fear of death, it is a concept I often repeat in my work. I had wondered what makes a ghost but had never explored the concept. When I started researching this subject I also began to wonder what causes the different physical forms they are supposedly seen to take. These tales show ghosts as products of trauma and environment, with each ghost’s physical form unique to these factors. With these tales I wanted to show some spaces that are familiar but we don't usually think of as haunted. These are not horror stories, though some may still consider them spooky. These are the stories that the ghosts could not tell, so I will tell them instead.
